My condolences to Bob's family and friends on the passing of a great man and mentor to many who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him over his long and distinguished career on the Street.Heaven must be in need of some laughter and some great conversation because Bob always brought both with him where ever he went.Rest in peace Bob.

I had the honor of working with Bob in the securities industry and the Irish Children's Fund.  Bob was full of love and life and great to work with or socialize with.  He could be counted on whenever you needed help, whether as a friend or as a customer. A man of integrity in a tough business. A very unique individual who will be missed.  My deepest sympathies.

Betty, Danny, Meghan, Brian, Kevin and all of the extended family,

We are further saddened by the loss of our dear friend Bob, in that we cannot be there for the visitation and church services.  Bob was a mentor to Rich as they worked together in the securities industry.  He and Betty became good friends to both of us and remained so even after we moved to New Jersey and then finally Virginia.  We were honored to have Bob serve as Godfather to our youngest son Bill.  Among the many memories we have is when Rich would hear a new joke and share it with Bob. He would immediately ask Bob to tell it back to him because “no one could tell a joke like Bob!”

Someone once said that heaven and hell were simply what others said and thought about you when you ware finally called home.  Without debating the theological aspects of that statement, let us say that if it is so, then the gates of heaven have surely been thrown open wide to welcome Bob.

Grace and Peace to you all,

    Rich, Carol and family
