William P. Heneghan, “Billy,” devoted son of Mary (née Cannon of Rockfield, Westport, Co. Mayo, Ireland) and the late John Heneghan of Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, Ireland; beloved brother of Johnny (Donna) Heneghan; cherished longtime companion of Diane O’Dea; and dear nephew, cousin, and friend to many. In his younger years, Billy was an exceptionally talented songwriter and musician. His voice, his guitar, and his work with Andalusian Dogs were powerful expressions of his spirit and creativity. An avid reader with a curious mind, he had a lifelong love of learning and lively conversation. Billy brought humor, warmth, and heart to every room he entered. He was a proud Local 134 union electrician for many years — hardworking, skilled, and deeply dedicated to his craft. In recent years, Billy faced significant health challenges with quiet strength and resilience, supported always by the unwavering love of his family and friends — especially his devoted mother.
