Vincent "Enzo" Ferraro

Vincent " Enzo"  Ferraro, 78, of Des Plaines, formerly of Park Ridge, died on December 30, 2025, with his beloved family by his side.  Vincent was married to the love of his life, Lynne (O'Connor) Ferraro for 57 years. Together they raised two children, Christine, a second grade teacher, and Philip (Erica) ,CPD .Vincent was extremely proud that his children both followed their hearts as they pursued their careers.  Vincent was born on February 24, 1947 ,in Brooklyn , NY to  the late Thomas and Carmella (Padrone) Ferraro . Fond summer days were spent up in Marlborough ,NY with his late brother Thomas. In January 1961, the Ferraro Family moved to Niles, IL. You can take the boy out of NY, but you can never take the NY out of the boy-Vincent retained his Brooklyn accent -much to the amusement of his wife and children.    In addition to his wife and children, Vincent is survived by his siblings , Geraldine (the late Michael Romano),  Martin  (the late Mariann) Ferraro, Teresa (Ken) Wadman, Camille (Steve) Porter, and Maria (Anthony) Fidanza, and many nephews, nieces,  great nephews and  great nieces.     Vincent's funeral mass will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at noon at St. Paul of the Cross Church Park Ridge, IL.
