Silvia Barranco, 55, passed away on December 3, 2025. Silvia was a loving mother, devoted wife, and the heart of her family. She lived her life with joy, warmth, and a spirit that lifted everyone around her. Silvia loved music, dancing, laughing, and being surrounded by the people she cared for most. She was always the light in every room, the one who brought comfort, energy, and connection wherever she went. Silvia is survived by her loving husband, Julian Barranco; her three children, Natalie Neira, Christopher Ortiz, and Sophia Ortiz; and her cherished grandson, Adam Santiago. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters and her father, who loved her endlessly. Silvia now finds peace in heaven, reunited with her beloved mother and brother. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and unforgettable brightness. She touched countless lives with her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She will forever be missed, and forever be our light. Visitation will be on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge. Funeral Monday December 8, 2025 9:15 a.m. to Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe 1170 N. River Rd. Des Plaines, Il. for Mass at 10 a.m.
