Sheila Fern Murphy

Sheila Fern Murphy, beloved wife of the late Carmen Mustari; devoted daughter of the late Ellen and James Murphy; dear sister of Marie (Joe) Delrose, John (Joanie), and Patrick (Katie), and the late Michael, Kathleen, Eileen (Ralph) and Danny (Terri); loving aunt, cherished cousin and dear friend to many, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Sheila was the proud daughter of Irish immigrant parents from County Mayo and County Donegal. She deeply cherished her Catholic Irish upbringing and carried her faith and heritage with her throughout her life. Especially proud of her Westside Irish roots, Sheila embodied a strong spirit, deep devotion to family, and lasting friendships. In her later years, she treasured her life with Carmen in Louisville, Illinois, where she enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with her beloved Labrador dogs.

Visitation, Saturday, March 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a Catholic Service at 5:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge.
