Shawn Sullivan

Shawn Sullivan, 51, a lifelong resident of Park Ridge, Illinois and second generation Local 399 engineer, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Loving son of the late Michael Sullivan and brother of the late Michael ‘Mikey’ Sullivan. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken mother Nora Mai Sullivan (nee Healy), brother Patrick (Maureen) Sullivan, sisters Cathleen (Michael) Mullane, Joan (Tom) McNamara, Noreen (Mike) Hart and loving sister-in-law and best friend Karen. Dear and proud uncle of Michael, Brendan, Patrick and Sheila Mullane, Thomas and Samuel McNamara, and Matthew, Maura, Michael and Mairead Hart.

Even in the most mundane circumstances of life, Shawn had the rare ability to find the humor needed to keep his friends and family rolling with laughter. Which is why it is fitting that even in his passing, the stories he left behind continue to bring joy, comfort and laughter to all of those who loved him dearly.
