Robert A. Kalis   "K.O." - passed away at the age of 85 on June 7, 2024;  loving father of Scott (Renee), Bob Jr. (Cindy) and the late Mark;  proud and cherished grandfather of Justin (Jackie), Alex  (Chrissy), Autumn, Kristie, Jessica and James;  great grandfather of Xander, Sawyer, Ivy and Rylynn;  husband of the late Lilian (Reid) and Rae (Maes); devoted companion to the late Diane Fejdasz; brother of Ruth (Leonard) Savick, Sandy (Vito) Mangognia the late John and the late Esther (Paul) Stolarski;  fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Retired C.P.D. after 34 years.  Proud Veteran of U.S. Army.  Bob had a bigger than life personality and had the ability to make everyone laugh.  Visitation Sunday June 9, 4-7 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral Service at 7 p.m.  Interment private on Monday.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
