Raymond O'Machel

We mourn our loss but celebrate the life of Raymond “Ray” O’Machel. Ray, 73, passed away peacefully at home on July 21st, 2023. He was a beloved husband to Carla O’Machel, an amazing father to Kristin Norte (Andrew) and Lauren O’Machel (Ian fiancé of) and a devoted grandfather to his “Little Buddy”, Ezra Ray Norte. He was also a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews. He joins his late brother, Don O’Machel (Donna) and late sister, Patricia Flaherty (Bob) in heaven. A very dear brother-in-law to the late Walter Bragagnolo (Kathy)Ray was a great friend to all and loved by so many. He was an avid golfer, a true White Sox fan, and if you were lucky enough, he would’ve made you one of his famous milkshakes. There isn’t a moment in his life that he wouldn’t drop everything to help someone or lend a hand to those who needed it.  He will be missed. Visitation will take place at the Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge, IL on Thursday, July 27th 3 PM - 8 PM. A mass will take place on Friday, July 28th at 10 AM at St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge.
