Rafael Montijo

Rafael Montijo, Army Veteran, 74, of Norridge, formerly of Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood and Ciales Puerto Rico, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2024. Adored husband of Haydee of 50 wonderful years. Beloved father of Rey, Melinda and Jonnie. Cherished grandfather of his "great gifts," Jonnie Jr., Deija, Brooklynn, Feilin, Malachi, Amadea, Hailey, Alexander and Andres. Proud dog dad to Nena and Sakura. Mailman for 37 years. Rafael will be remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of the people around him and his ability to bowl a perfect game. 

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 at Cooney Funeral Home from 2-8p (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068)
