Priscilla C. Veron, 78, passed away on September 29, 2021. Born in Manila to Gorgonio and Amparo Caguiat, Priscilla was a devout Catholic throughout her life and attended Catholic school from kindergarten through high school. She continued her education at the University of Philippines, attaining first a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and ultimately earning her M.B.A. It was during her master’s program where she met her loving husband, Perricillo A. Veron. They married in 1969 and enjoyed nearly 52 years together.
Priscilla excelled in banking and quickly worked her way to the assistant manager position of her branch of Security Bank and Trust Company in Manila. After moving to the U.S., she found success at LaSalle Bank, eventually retiring in 2007 as a Senior Vice President of Dutch-held ABN-AMRO Lasalle (later purchased by Bank of America).
Priscilla was an intelligent, subtle, and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow up. In better days, she enjoyed traveling, shopping, Notre Dame football games, and taking walks with her husband.
Priscilla is survived by her devoted husband, Perricillo; daughter, Liza Priscilla and son-in-law, Larry Jackson; son, Juan Perry and daughter-in-law, Graziella; daughter, Rita Patricia; grandchildren, Samantha and Sydney Jackson; grandchildren Violet, Victor, Valentino, and Vincent Veron; brother, Jaime Caguiat; and sister, Cecilia Caguiat. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gorgonio and Amparo Caguiat; and brother, Antonio.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.
