Peter Laszlo Vazul passed unexpectedly on November 2nd, 2020 in his Chicago home. Peter was born to Mihaly and Anna (Illes) Vazul on January 11th of 1940 in Budapest, Hungary. He left at the peak of a revolution in Hungary in 1956, becoming a resident of Chicago and worked hard to become a United States citizen in 1985. He did everything he could to provide for his family in both his early and late years.
In Peter’s free time, he was an avid bowler and loved traveling to Hungary. He was extremely good at making friends and was a genuine and honest man. He dedicated the rest of his time to being self-employed as a home improvement professional, using his skills in plumbing, carpentry and electric in homes and churches. Peter was an extremely generous man, giving a helping hand to those who needed it.
Surviving are his children; Luke of Florida, Steve (Michelle) of Florida, Krisztina of Illinois and Peter of Florida, grandchildren; Andrew and Grace, sisters; Ilona of Hungary and Eva (Dezso) of Illinois, brother; George (Erika) of Hungary, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Mihaly and Anna and his sister Margaret.
Due to current restrictions, there will be no services or funeral. Family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date to take Peter home to Hungary.
