Peter Juiris

Peter C. Juiris, of Park Ridge, IL, passed away suddenly on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at the age of 50. Born and raised in Park Ridge, IL, Pete attended Mary, Seat of Wisdom grade school. He then graduated from Loyola Academy, where he was also a member of the varsity swim team.  After high school, Pete continued his education at the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign, where he graduated with an accounting degree and a law degree. While studying there, he met his wife of 20 years, Elizabeth. Pete became a founding partner of Complex PTS after a corporate career in the Chicago area. Pete loved being a dad to Sarah, Chase and Ella, especially time spent coaching them in swimming. He also enjoyed volunteering as a swim coach and was a member of U.S. Masters Swimming. Pete had numerous interests and hobbies, including home improvement projects, grilling, and traveling with family,  Pete is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Sarah, Chase and Ella; his mother, Christine (the late Henry "Hank") Juiris; brothers, Mark Juiris and Steven (Cindy) Juiris; sister, Mary Juiris; parents-in-law, Cliff and Marcia Zerull; sisters-in-law, Julie (Mike) Zerull,  Marianne (Jason) Fried and Laura Zerull; many loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins; devoted business partners and colleagues; and countless friends within the local swimming community and beyond. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral Thursday, family and friends to meet at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment private.  Memorials may be made to the family.
