Michael "Mike" J. Kussmann

Michael “Mike” J. Kussmann of Chicago, IL, age 72, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022. 

Michael was the son of the late Robert and Geraldine Kussmann. Proud father of Julie (Brian) Blasius and Michael (Rebecca) Kussmann. Proud grandfather of Erica, Matthew, Justin, Jackson, and Uma. Beloved brother of Mary Pat Dillon, Kathy (Bill) Wiese, Joseph, John, Gerry (David) Dunne, Margaret Hair (Jack Malone), William (Mary), and the late Diane (Matt Richter). Fond uncle of John Dillon, Luke Dillon, Lisa (Mike) Bigos, Emily, Joseph (Ashley), Margaret (Brad) Stein, Conor (Shelley) Dunne, Colleen Dunne, Daniel (Jacquelyn) Dunne, William Hair, Matthew Hair, Ellen (Mark) Ingram, Kevin, Sophie Richter, and Nora Richter. Mike’s kind spirit, enthusiasm for helping others, sense of humor, and love for sharing knowledge about his many interests will be missed. 

Visitation will be held at Cooney Funeral Home, located at 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge on Sunday, December 4 from 11:30am to 3:00pm. Memorial service will begin promptly at 3:00pm.
