Michael "Mick" James Flaherty

Michael James “Mick” Flaherty—Beloved husband of Mary (nee Kelly); devoted Papa of Katie (Kevin) Ward, Timothy (Stephanie), and Tara (Jason) Jenkins; loving Papa the Pirate to Jimmy, Russell, and June Jenkins, Jack and Annette Flaherty, and Paddy and Sheila Ward; dear son of Patrick and the late Jeanne Flaherty; fond brother of Mary Jeanne (Ron) Butera, Patrick (Imelda), John (Peggy), and Bridget (Jerry) Dwyer; uncle of many nieces and nephews; great friend to all. Retired City of Chicago Electrician Local 134, former President of Camp Lake Beach Association, A.O.H., World Traveler, and Founding Member of A/A “Anglers Anonymous”.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
