Suhar, Matthew J , 46 , Our vivacious, magnetic, charming, humorous, Matthew James Suhar, age 46, went home to the Lord Almighty on March 16, 2013. He leaves behind his best friend and beloved wife, Susan (Salvati) and two adoring children, daughter Stella Theresa (age 9) and son Spencer Stephen (age 6). Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Roger and Beverly; cherished sister Cheryl Cramer (Phillip); caring brother Gregory Suhar (Joy); paternal grandmother Margaret Suhar and his loving nieces and nephew, aunts and uncles and many cousins.  He was an infectious character, adored and admired by many. His passion for music will leave a legacy in the Chicago music scene for years to come.  Services will be held this Friday, March 22nd at St. Andrew’s Church, 3546 N Paulina St., Chicago, IL 60657.  Last respects are from 9:00 am – 10:15 am with a mass immediately following at 10:30 am.  In the afternoon, a musical tribute in Matthew's honor will be held at the Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60613 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Light refreshments will be available as family, friends and the musicians whose lives he touched, gather to honor his life’s work.
