Mary “Maureen” Staunton (nee Heneghan), 85, native of Shangorth, Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, Ireland; beloved wife of the late Martin Staunton; loving mother of Mary Jo (William) Mullane, Margaret (Paul) Grahn, Brigid (David) Hay, and Martin (Jennifer); cherished grandmother of Colleen, Caitlin and  the late Liam Mullane, Jack Grahn, Michael, Samantha and Colin Hay, Lilly and Martin Staunton Jr; fond sister of James (Mary Ann), Nancy (Peter) Maguire, the late Bridie (the late Jackie) Godley, the late Thomas (Nora) Heneghan, and the late Michael; fond aunt of many;   Visitation Friday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy Park Ridge.  Funeral  Saturday, prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. going to St. Juliana Church for Mass at  10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com  In lieu of flowers donations to March of Dimes would be greatly appreciated.
