Mary O'Brien

Mary Philomena (Dee) O’Brien, born on May 13th, 1944, passed away on June 20th, 2024 after giving it 110% everyday during her cancer battle. A native of Kilrossanty, County Waterford, Ireland. Devoted wife of the late Liam, the most loving and wonderful Mom to Michael Jefferson and Jennifer Nora (Marc) Marcussen, the  extraordinary Mema to Liam, Grace and Henry. Survived by siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins in Ireland and England. Member of Chicago Gaelic Park, former member of the Chicago GAA Board. Her family was her world, and she will be forever loved, missed and remembered.  Donations to the American Cancer Federation or the American Heart Association are appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 9:00am-10:00am at St Alexis Church with mass starting at 10:00am.
