Mary B (Daly) Gilgunn

Mary Brigid (Mai) Gilgunn nee Daly, 89, of Mt. Prospect, Illinois peacefully departed this life surrounded by her family on September 3, 2025. Born May 2, 1936, in Clonmaskil, Delvin, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth nee Leavy and Matthew Daly; Beloved wife of 60 years of the late Hugh, devoted mother of Thomas (Kimberly), Matthew (Kathleen), Elizabeth and Hughie (Mary Alice); proud grandmother of Molly, Fiona, Brian, Ryan, Anthony and Grace Gilgunn; loving sister of Thomas (Mary), the late Edward and the late Camillus (Mary) Daly; Loving aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. The visitation will be Friday, 12th of September at 9:30 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am. The visitation and Mass will be at St. Emily Church 1400 E. Central Road Mount Prospect. Internment will be at All
