Mary Rita (nee O’Malley) Flatley—Passed away peacefully at home. Born in Doughmakeon, Louisburgh, County Mayo, Ireland to Anthony and Jane (nee Burke) O’Malley. Mary emigrated to Chicago on October 16, 1947 and became a U.S. Citizen on May 18, 1954. She married Thomas M. Flatley on October 16, 1954.
Proud immigrant, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, matriarch, sister, aunt, friend, baker, gardener, counselor, avid reader and seamstress. Mary was one of the kindest people you could ever meet.

Funeral Saturday, November 26, 2022 family and friends are asked to meet at St. Benedict Church, 2215 W.
