Marie Elizabeth Kilroy (nee Spellman) Beloved wife of the late Joe for 57 years; devoted daughter of the late Ed and Mary Spellman; loving mother of Pat, Mike (Mary), Sheila (John) Joyce, Joe (Mary Joyce), Gerry (Betty), Ed (Sue), Siobhan (Dan) Treacy, Kevin (Deb); cherished grandmother of Mike (Liz), Pat SSG US Army (Jamie), Ryan, Hannah, Mairead, Grainne, John Joe, and Sara Kilroy, Kathleen (Bryan) Cosgriff, Caitlin (Scott) Ruzinsky, Meaghan (Neil) Offerman, Molly (David) Nicolau, Siobhain and Ciara Joyce, Darragh, Daniel, Ciara, and Sean Treacy, and the late Paddy Kilroy; great grandmother of Grace, Colin, and Jameson Kilroy and William Ruzinsky; sister to the late Julia Barbara Vacala (the late Bill); aunt to many nieces and nephews in the United States, Canada, and Ireland, including Seamus (Susan), Siobhan (Mike), Fiona, and Seamus Reid and the Vacala family; dear cousin to many in the United States and Ireland. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
