Marcia Ann Tani

We celebrate the Life of Marcia Tani who was born July 20th 1955 and passed October 23rd 2025. She was 70 years old daughter of late Akira Tani and Tokiko Okazaki & survived by her loving sister Gail McCarthy, brother in law, Patrick McCarthy, nephew Ryan McCarthy (Crystal McCarthy), nieces Kendall & Brynn and countless other family and friends. 

To know Marcia was truly a gift. She lived each day with a childlike innocence and pure happiness that so many of us spend our lives searching for—a life without worry, without fear, and overflowing with joy.

Marcia spent her time on this earth finding happiness in the small everyday things that so many of us overlook. She was a devoted Cubs fan through and through and had a lifelong love for all things Mickey Mouse. If Marcia wasn’t out and about enjoying life, you could bet she was at a Cubs game or dreaming up her next Disney Trip.

We can all take a lesson from Marcia’s life: do what you love. Whether it’s something big or something small, embrace it wholeheartedly and enjoy the process every single day.
