Linda Jean Dugas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Jean Dugas, age 73, on October 16,
2024. Born on January 7, 1951, she was the adoring and steadfast wife of Daniel Dugas, proud
mother of Tom (Amy Lukasik) Rubeo and Gina (Erik) Tenglin, and cherished grandmother to her
three granddaughters, Elise, Mena, and Liliana, who brought her immense joy. Linda was the
beloved daughter of Harry and Arlyne Goll and is survived by her loving siblings, Dona (Gary)
Zielinski, Bruce and Steve Goll.
Linda spent most of her life as a resident of Park Ridge, IL but enjoyed traveling with her
husband Dan and spending time at their home in Galena, IL. She was a passionate reader, puzzle
enthusiast, and avid gardener, but Linda found true happiness when spending time with others.
She very much enjoyed hosting family and friends throughout the year, especially during
Thanksgiving, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
Linda's warmth, kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew
her.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd from 3-8 pm at Cooney
Funeral Home in Park Ridge, IL. Linda was a lifelong dog mom and cared deeply for each dog
she adopted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a canine charity or dog rescue
organization of your choice.
