Lawrence M. McCarthy

Lawrence M. McCarthy, age 70, son of the late Jack and Peggy McCarthy; beloved husband of Maureen (nee Garrity); loving father of Patrick and Michael;  cherished brother of John (Cathy), Mary Ann, Nancy (John) Beres, Colleen, Sheila (Tom) Rahlfs and Dan (Shannon);  fond brother in law of Mike (Patty), Colleen (Eoin) McCague, Tim, Megan, Dan (Karri) and Katie Garrity; dear uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to all he met.  He will be dearly missed.  Visitation Thursday Jan. 2nd 2025 from 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Benedict Church 2215 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL   on Friday for 10 a.m. Mass. live stream   www.stbenedict.com   Interment private.  In lieu of flowers donations to Misericordia would be appreciated or Give - The Danny Did Foundation  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
