Karla Carey

Karla Carey passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2023, loving wife, sister and aunt.  Karla was originally from Porter TWP Clarion Co, PA and moved to Chicago in 1968.  Karla's first job out of high school was working for Governor William Scranton and she retired from Barton Brands in 2010 as the Chief Legal Administrator.  Beloved and devoted wife of John Carey, proud aunt to Jack LeVier and Jamie LeVier, wonderful in-law and aunt to many in Chicago.  Karla has 15 nieces and nephews as well as 12 great nieces and nephews too many to list. Karla was proceeded in death by her sister Myrna LeVier and parents Fred and Florence Austin.  

A visitation will be held Monday November 27 5:00- 8:00pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com.
