John Blaise Romancik – age 97, beloved husband of Patricia “Patsy” McNamara;  Son of the late Julia (nee Kohutik) and Jan Romancik;   beloved son in law of the late Ann (nee Boyle) and Michael J. McNamara; brother in law of Theresa (Norfie) Diciolla, Shelia (the late Jim) Bies, the late Margaret (the late Roy) Nielsen, the late Michael, (the late Joey) McNamara, the late Bernadette (the late Joe) Campion;  fond cousin and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Born in Jasenie Slovakia.  U.S. Army Veteran from the Korean War.  Many thanks to  Mable Townsend who took care of him.  Avid sports fan and golfer with two career holes in one.  Visitation Tuesday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home at 10 a.m.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
