John F. Mulcrone, 87, native of Aughagowla, Newport, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Doherty); loving father of Mary (Kevin) Marks, Dominick (Amy), Ann, & John (Patty); cherished Grandpa of Brian, Eamon (fiancee Catherine Kells),Colleen Marks; Declan (fiancee Maureen O’Donnell), Brendan, Michael, Shaun, Liam, John Michael & Daniel; dear brother of Mary (the late Vincent) O’Malley, Annie Nora (the late Paddy) Gannon, Teresa (the late John) Feehan, Michael (Anne), Patsy (Jimmy) Tuohy, Dominic (Ann) & the late Padraic; fond cousin & uncle of many.

US Army veteran. Lifelong member of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart. Proud member of IBEW Local #134 for over fifty years.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Tuesday, family and friends are asked to meet at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity (formerly St. Tarcissus) for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. A livestream of Mass can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/cooneyfuneralhome Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Patrick Fathers or the Irish American Heritage Center.
