Jo-Anne passed peacefully from this life the evening of October 10th after a short fight with Ovarian Cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Jo-Anne grew up in Chicago where she raised her three daughters. She then moved to sunny California in 1986 but returned to the Midwest in 2013 to Kenosha, Wisconsin where she lived out the rest of her life.
Jo-Anne lived an adventurous life of dancing and traveling. She was very interested in and enjoyed the arts. In her early years she choreographed many plays. Her most recent adventures include; Italy, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Jo- Anne is survived by her three daughters; Heidi (James), Jeanne, and Joan (Mark); her eight loving grandchildren: Jacqueline, Marcel, Kaitlyn, Garrett (Olivia), Nicole, Kristen, Zachary, and Courtney; and greatgrandchild-to-be, ‘baby boy’.
Jo-Anne was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anne Brucato, and brothers Michael and James Brucato.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 3918 W. Irving Park Rd. in Chicago.
