Florence V. Glynn

Florence V Glynn (Rybski), 89, formerly of Aurora IL, resided at Norwood Crossing Skilled Nursing in Chicago, passed away on May 31, 2024.

Born August 9, 1934, in Chicago, IL to Frances Rybski (Walencik) and Leo Rybski. She is preceded in death by husband William M Glynn Sr, sister Rose Ostrowski, and brother David Rybski. Survived by sister Lorraine Rybski, son Michael Glynn, daughter Lora McFarland (Floyd), son William M Glynn Jr, daughter Jean Glynn, and her beloved grandchildren Megan and Amber McFarland, great grandchildren Abigail and Aria, cousins, and nephew.

She and her husband moved from Chicago to Aurora in 1964 where they continued to grow their family. She lived in Aurora for 51 years making amazing friends with whom she shared the love of bingo. She worked with the community for years by volunteering at Hall School and the polling booth for several years and then worked at Buy-Rite Foods until her retirement.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00 p.m. with a service at 12 noon at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway, in Park Ridge. Interment will be at St Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
