Eugene O'Regan

Eugene (Owen) O'Regan, age 92 passed away peacefully in his home on January 28, 2024.  He was a native of Fairhill, Cork City, Ireland..  Dearly beloved husband of Jane.  Loving father  of Eileen (Herb), Kathy (Craig), Maureen (Tony). Owenie had seven siblings and is survived by Liz (Tynan)  and John.  Cherished Papa of Erin, Alex, Kristin, Lauren, Brian, Kevin, Colin, Declan, Kelsey, Katie and Anthony.  Fond uncle to many and friend to all.  He was a consummate gentleman.  A kind and loving family man who loved to sing his repertoire of Irish ballads and the great American Songbook.  Visitation Friday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral Saturday, prayers at 9:45 a.m. going to St. Pascal Church for 10:30 Mass.  Interment All Saints.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
