Edward Daniel Murphy - Retired  Lt. C.F.D. - beloved husband for 35 years to Terri (nee Hack); loving father of Megan (Bryan) Gronset and Sarah Murphy;  proud and cherished "Pa" of Maeve and Emma; devoted son of the late Ellen and James Murphy; dear brother of Marie (Joe) DelRose, John (Joanie), Sheila, Patrick (Katie), the late Michael, Kathleen and Eileen;   loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge.  Funeral Monday, family and friends are asked to meet at Immaculate Conception Church (Harlem and Talcott) for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
