STEINKE, DONALD E.-  Donald E. Steinke, devoted husband of Carrie (nee Landon) for 67 years of marriage. The loving son of Benedict and Martha Steinke (nee Balcerek). Joyous father of Mark, Carl and Donna (Christopher) Woelffer. Cherished happy grandfather of Matthew Woelffer, Lauren Woelffer, Whitney Steinke, Torson Steinke, and Katie Woelffer. Brother of Marie (George) Lowe and the late Joan (John) York and William (Aggie) Steinke.Recent resident of Holland, MI, St. Charles IL, but a proud son of Chicago’s Westside, and a longtime resident of Niles IL. A man of deep faith and family, robust generosity and tireless devotion to the Bears. He returns to God trusting in the Redeemer’s promise of fresh life. Visitation Saturday, June 21, 2025 for 10 am viewing, followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, St. Jean Brebeuf, Niles. Internment private.
