David Lawrence Sippel

David Lawrence Sippel age 84 of Chicago passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2023. Son of late Lawrence and Katherine Sippel; brother to the late Hugh, Susan, Katherine and survived by his loving sister Janet. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Bernadette (O’Malley) of over 60 years; devoted father of James (Tammy), Mark (Elizabeth), Rebecca Kliber and Andrew (Gerrilyn) and will be greatly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was a proud Navy Veteran, technical engineer and volunteer for several community and church organizations.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, family and friends are asked to meet at Queen of Angels Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
