Charles “Chuck” Frederick Heybrock - age 89 of Arlington Heights, retired Chicago Police Officer passed away on February 11, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Mary T. (O’Malley) Heybrock; Proud and loving father of Anne (Daniel) Campbell, Denise (late Robert Noel), Charles M. (Cathleen), Gregory (Gia) Heybrock, Susan (Thomas) Jones; Beloved son of the late Gustave and Paula (Schunke) Heybrock; Cherished and proud grandfather to Kevin and Caitlin Heybrock, Elizabeth (Max) Fitzgerald, Jennifer (Cameron) DeVoe, James (Elizabeth), Samantha, and Brian Campbell, Quinton and Evan Jones; Loving great-grandfather (Pop) to Nora and Alice Fitzgerald, Emma and Josephine DeVoe. Dear brother to the late Gerhard and late Gustav (Bertina) Heybrock; brother-in-law to the late P.J. (Gail) O’Malley, Margaret (late Daniel) Blaszinski, Kathleen (late William) Schnoebelen, and the late Martin (late Mary) O’Malley. Uncle to many cherished nieces and nephews.
Chuck‘s children and grandchildren want to acknowledge the wonderful care, support, and friendship given to our father over the years from his caregivers: Gilma, James, and Nick.
Due to the pandemic the family will be having a private family service. Once it is safe to do so, we plan to celebrate Chuck’s life with you in the near future.
Please note the Mass for Chuck will be at St. James Catholic Parish in Arlington Heights on February 25, 2021 at noon CST.
