Catherine "Kathleen" (Doherty) Mulcrone

Catherine (Kathleen) Mulcrone (nee Doherty), 90, native of Bogagh, Carrick, County
Donegal, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Mary (Kevin) Marks,
Dominick, Ann and John (Patty). Cherished Grandmother to Brian, Eamon (Catherine)
and Colleen Marks; Declan (Maureen), Brendan, Shaun (Fiancée Therese), Michael,
Liam, John Michael and Daniel Mulcrone.  Great grandmother of Maeve Mulcrone.  Dear sister of Mary (Gene) Curran, Padraig
(Mary), Brian (Joan), Sean (the late Ann), Ann (the late Sean) Ward, the late Peggy (the
late Brian) O’Byrne and Seamus (the late Kathleen Ann). Fond cousin and Aunt to
many. She enjoyed sharing memories of her time working at the famous Stouffer’s
restaurant, Top of the Rock, in the Prudential building. During her time there she made
lifelong friendships with the other Irish women and they continued to meet regularly over
the years.
Visitation will be held on Friday  3-8 p.m.at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Highway in Park Ridge. Funeral Mass Saturday afternoon.  Friends and family are asked to meet at Our Lady of the Rosary Church (formerly St. Pascal) - Funeral Mass at one o'clock. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
