Catherine Garrity "Mary" (nee Madden)  beloved wife of the late James C.F.D.;  loving mother of Patrick (Catherine), Maureen (Jeff) Vaughn, Kathleen (the late Ed) Ballatin, Marty (Lisa), Kevin (Sandy), Sheila, Tim (Sandra), Michael, Eileen (Claude) Diez and Dan Garrity;  proud and cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 20;  dear sister , aunt and cousin of many.  Visitation Wednesday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy Park Ridge.  Funeral Thursday, family and friends are asked to meet at St. Paul of the Cross Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m.  Interment private.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
