September 30, 2016
Brian Michael Palm of Chicago passed away at the end of September in Harvard, Illinois.

Brian was born on March 21, 1976 and grew up in Chicago. Following service in the Coast Guard, Brian attended Columbia College in Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. He worked as a freelance photographer, incorporating his passion for architecture and all things old. He was recognized by the Chicago Tribune and featured on WTTW as he photographed endangered Chicago buildings. Brian will be remembered for his warmth and kindness, generosity with his time and talent, deep intelligence, quick wit, and boundless interest in the world near and far.

Brian married the love of his life, Sarah, in 2001. He was the proud and devoted father of Gavin, Turner, and Silas, and God daughter Jasmine.

Brian is survived by his father and mother, Mike and Linda, his sisters Kerstin (Kerstin) and Anna-Lisa (Ray), nieces Abbey, Amalia, and Elin, loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with an abundance of dear and treasured friends. He will be missed so very deeply.
