Brian P. Kloss

Brian Patrick Kloss, age 57, died suddenly on August 10, 2025. Loving son of Dennis R. Kloss and Judith L. (nee Jagiello) Kloss, brother to Carrie(Jim) Wilhelm and Laura Belluomini, devoted uncle to Claudia and Luke, and close friend, mentor and father figure to Michael Culbertson for 11 years. Brian graduated from Lane Tech and joined the Air Force.  He trained at Chanute AFB. He was stationed at Minot AFB for 4 years and received an honorable discharge.  Shortly after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in chemistry, he was employed at Benjamin Moore, working in the lab. He changed to sales and eventually became a Training Implementation Specialist. He was a loyal, hardworking employee for 29 years. In 2022, he received the Sales Operation Award. He is remembered as a trainer, mentor and friend to all employees and retailers of Benjamin Moore. He is a nephew and cousin to many. He had several special lifelong friends dating back to early childhood and others from college .His passing is sudden and heartbreaking. He will be missed by his family, friends, colleagues and anyone who loved him throughout his life. Visitation Thursday 3-8 pm .Funeral Service Friday 10 am at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy.
