Barbara McDonagh (nee Walsh), 89, of Chicago. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Andrew McDonagh. Beloved mother of John (Nancy), Anne (David Fishbaum), Martin (Donna), Mary Spila (Harry), William, and Joseph CFD (Patti). Adored Mamo of Andrew, William, Daniel, Benjamin, Nicole (Justin Tueffel), Meaghan (Kevin Chapman), Michelle, Elizabeth, Jacob, Brian, Thomas, John USMC, Emmett, and Jacob Sands. Dear sister of Nora O’Donoghue (late Hugh), Mairtin Walsh, and Brigid Lydon; preceded in death by Maura, Julia, Kate, Patrick, Sonny, Agnes, and Margaret. Treasured aunt/great aunt and cherished friend to many in Chicago, Boston, Ireland, and England. Best friends with the late Anne Moloney, Norah Brennan, and Nora Cashin. Native of Pouley Werrin, Lettermore, Galway, Ireland. All services at St Juliana Church, 7201 N. Oketo Ave, Chicago, Ill on Thursday, May 6. Visitation 9:30 -11:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. No pre-registration required.
