Alice (Kane) Johanson

Alice Johanson - (nee Kane) beloved wife of the late Donald R.; loving mother of Kathy Kestler, Cheryl Collins and Donald (Joe) Johanson;  proud and cherished grandmother of Jacqueline and Jon Johanson, Erin (Jacob) Braslavsky, Lindsey (Keith) Smiegowski, Thomas (Jessica) Kestler, Jessica (Scott) Snyder, Christopher and April Kestler and the late Brian Collins;  great grandmother of Theodore and Clifford Snyder and Lucas Braslavsky.  She was a one of a kind woman.  Friend to all and the hostess with the mostest.  Family gatherings were always looked forward to by all friends and family members.  Alice worked for many years at Walter Daniels Construction Company and was adored by all of her co-workers.  Her family is very saddened with heavy hearts after losing her from suffering from Lewy Body Disease.  She was so selfless and always dedicated herself to serving others.  Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge.  Funeral Friday, family and friends to meet at St. Juliana Church for 10 a.m. Mass.  Interment Maryhill Cemetery.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
