William 'Bill' Errol Spencer III, passed away July, 9th 2014 at age 69. Bill was a loving father to David, Theresa and Stephanie; brother to Jon (Nancy), Erle (Cindy), Robert (Lydia) and the late Randall; son of the late William Jr. and Virginia Spencer. Bill served in the Navy, stationed at Pearl Harbor, during the Vietnam War. He was a patron of the arts and sciences, and enjoyed photography, learning and world travel. Bill was Market Research Director at the Joint Commission in Oakbrook, where he strived to improve the quality of healthcare for others. A visitation and memorial service will be held Monday, July 14 from 3 to 8 p.m. with a service at 8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
