William "Bill" Bimmerle (80) of Cary, IL passed away on January 22, 2023. He was born on March 4, 1942 to Patrick and Marge Bimmerle. He is survived by his son Billy Tonnesen (Carolyn), grandchildren Megan M. Jeon, Terry Tonnesen, and Aaron Kotz, his brother John (Lynn) Bimmerle, his sister Mary Lennon (William), great granddaughter Isabella, and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded by his former wife Sue Bimmerle, daughter Debbi Kotz, sister Patsy Erickson, and granddaughter Alyssa.

Bill spent 4 years serving his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as an electrician, he was Mr. Fix It, and then owned several businesses. Bill was dearly loved by his family, friends, and neighbors. He was always helping his sister, Mary with the original family home in Cary. He was always ready to help his neighbors and was much loved by them all.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Interment private.
