Tomas Vargas Beloved husband of Kristy Kisler.  Loving father of Erin Marie Vargas.  Fond grandfather of Cielo Marie Bernard. Dear brother of Heriberto (Doris), Juana (Arcadio) Medina, Juan "Tony" Terrell and Noel Yousef.  Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Maria. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and came to Chicago when he was 12.  Attended Clemente High School, St. Augustine College and Northeastern Illinois University.  He worked for the Chicago Public Library for 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, making kites and was an avid CUBS FAN. Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m.  Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for mass at 10:00 a.m.  Interment ______ Cemetery.
