Obituary
Thomas P. Matassa--Loving husband to Lisa nee Glantz; devoted son of the late Louis and Josephine; precious brother of Lois (Tony) Markel; doting Uncle to Kimberly Benson; father to Louis, Carrie, and Jennifer; son-in-law and friend to Toby and Howard Glantz; and loving uncle and cousin to many. Tommy, Our Knight in Shining Armor, battled cancer gallantly. May he be remembered for his unwavering generosity, quick wit, and wicked sense of humor. All of us who loved him will cherish him forever. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-8 PM at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge. Funeral service Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Misericordia Home or Little City.
