Thomas Harvey Madden age 77 passed away on April 26, 2026. He was born on April 5, 1949.

Thomas was born and raised in Park Ridge. He attended high school at Notre Dame for Boys and college at Upper Iowa University and Northeastern Illinois University. Thomas worked multiple jobs his entire life to support his family and inspire a strong work ethic for his children to follow.Thomas was a dedicated volunteer at Queen of Angels Church-Queen of Apostles Parish, and he worked as an election judge in his community. He loved camping at Lake Carroll and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the City in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood where he lived. He was a nature enthusiast who appreciated God’s beautiful creations. He had a wonderful love of music which encompassed many decades and genres. Thomas encouraged and supported his children’s academic, athletic, civic, and professional development. He shared his love of camping, nature exploration, and swimming with his family, which created many fond memories that will last forever.Thomas was preceded in death by his parents James and Kathleen (Healy) Madden. Thomas is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 46 years Deborah Madden (Fryer), His children Sean (Lisa) Madden, Ryan (Laura) Madden, Anna Madden, Noah Madden, grandchildren Alexandra (Blake) Carey, Alicia Madden, Sean Patrick Madden, Angelina (Leland) Madden, Ayrton Madden, Holly Madden, great-grandchildren Maria and Claire Carey, loving sister Jean McCormick, brother James Jr., and brother Michael (Mary).
