Terrence C. Kautz, 66, passed away suddenly in his home on Friday, December 15, 2017. Terry is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Bujak (Nick), his son, Brian Kautz (Cynthia), his daughter Stephanie Morales (Edwin) and stepson, William J Motley III (Cinthia). He is also survived by Seven  loving grandchildren Iyanna, Emily, Bill, Liam, Riley, Enzo and Michael.  He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Kautz (Sharon) and his niece Kristen and nephew Scott. Preceded in death by his loving wife Jan H. Motley and parents, Fred and Rita Kautz. Terry was born on September 18, 1951 in Chicago to Fred and Rita Kautz. He was a lifelong Chicago resident. He graduated from DePaul University, and dedicated himself to being a father, grandfather and insurance professional. He married Jan H. Motley in 1999, and they shared many common interests, including politics, books, movies, dinners, fine restaurants and trips to New York City.  Terry was a loving father and grandfather. He was a man who loved reading. He was a very heartfelt person who loved giving to others less fortunate. Terry will be remembered for his integrity, selflessness, love of learning and dedication to his family. Memorial visitation will be held at Cooney Funeral Home 3918 W.
