Steven Lee Peterson Born: January 18, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Died: October 4, 2016 after dealing with ALS for 28 months. Father of Eric (Brittany), Paul (Jodi), and Matt (Victoria) Peterson.  Grandfather of Dylan, Robert and James Peterson. Brother of Carol (Ray) Kaspar, Bonnie (Robert) Large, and James (Susan) Peterson.  He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Peterson and Elaine Jensen.  A graduate of Carl Schurz High School, Lewis University with a Master's Degree in Criminal/Social Justice, and the FBI National Academy. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  After 39 years with the Chicago Police Department, he retired as Deputy Superintendent, Bureau of Investigative Services.  He then founded and was President of LandMark Group Chicago.
