Stanley Anthony Wykowski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanley (Stan) Wykowski on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the age of 87.

Beloved husband of Marlyn Wykowski for 65 years; Dedicated father to Laura Boggs, Douglas Wykowski, and Marlaine (Thomas) Stankus; Proud grandfather to Kevin (Patrycja) Boggs, Jeffrey (Martha) Boggs, Michael Wykowski, Jackson Stankus and great grandfather to Kaiden and Liam Boggs; Loving uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Stanley was born March 12, 1936 in Chicago to Stanley and Helen Wykowski. He was an Oldsmobile mechanic for over 40 years and was a steward of the Mechanics Union Local 701. His passion for sports included coaching baseball, water skiing, and working at the golf range in Park Ridge. Stan's favorite activities were gardening and spending time with his family.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 11:00am at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 260 N. Northwest Highway in Park Ridge, Illinois.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00am -11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, plant a rose bush in honor of Stan or donate to St. Andrews Lutheran School, Autism Speaks, or PAWS.
