Sotirios (Sam) Loizos passed away June 25th, 2021 at the age of 74 after battle with cancer . Sam is survived by his wife Teresa and his children, Konstantinos (12) and Sonia (11). Originally from Argos, Greece , Sam moved to the United States in the 1970s.  He resided in Chicago for many years before moving to Park Ridge . He lived full life with his wife and his children by his side. Sam loved reading , history, animals and nature . He was avid martial artist and loved watching sports with son, Kosta.  He was a great friend to many and loved his friends deeply . He was a generous and kind soul with a great sense of humor. Sam will be remembered by his loving spirit and warm smile . Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy  in Park Ridge.
