Sophia Neuman, known as Sophie to all, died May 11 after a hard fight with brain cancer.  A recent graduate of Resurrection College Prep, she was expecting to matriculate at the University of Oregon when she was diagnosed. She is the beloved daughter of Kevin and Gretchen Neuman; cherished sister of Celia Neuman; dear grand daughter of Peter and Colleen Miller of Centerton, AR and Charles and the late Wilhelmina Neuman of Sag Harbor, NY.  She will be mourned by  her aunt, Marguerite Barrett, godparents, John and Janet Moriarty and many cousins and friends who will all miss her determination, wit and fashion sense.  A wake will be held Saturday, May 16, from 2-8pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
