On July 1, 2021, Ryan Michael Knapp passed unexpectedly, at age 22.  Ryan was a very rare, naturally beautiful person whose life was far too brief and who will be greatly missed by many.  Ryan made friends everywhere he went with his love of sports, fashion, music, pool, poker and mischief. He always had a smile, and a heart of gold.

If you knew Ryan, you loved him.

He is survived by his loving family: brother Taylor Knapp, father Jim Knapp, mother Jenny Walters-Knapp, grandparents Mike and Peggy Walters, and a very large tribe of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Jacqueline Hayes, Kendall Hayes and Stephan Berner.

A Mass in his honor will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Park Ridge on Sunday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation immediately following. We kindly request that visitors wear masks.
